What Sells Most — and Why It Matters
Korean car auctions process thousands of vehicles every month across the five major auction houses: Hyundai Glovis, AJ Autohub, SK Auction, Lotte Auto Auction, and K Car Auction. If you are sourcing Korean used cars for export — whether to the GCC, Africa, or other markets — knowing which models move the most tells you what is available, what is liquid, and where competition will be highest.
These are also the models where our 451-car price study found consistent 10–25% savings versus retail, so high volume means both better selection and proven value.
Below are the most-traded models at each auction house over the last 30 days. This is real transaction data from June 22 – July 21, 2026 — not estimates or dealer anecdotes. Hyundai Glovis
Glovis is Korea's largest auto auction operator, handling the largest share of total auction volume nationwide. It processes the highest number of Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles, making it the default starting point for most buyers.

The story of this period is the Casper. A single trim — the Gasoline 1.0 Inspiration — sold 157 units in 30 days, nearly three times the next model. That is a fleet cycle-out in action: rental and corporate Caspers hitting the block in bulk at a tight $5,000–$8,500 band. When one trim floods through like this, selection is deep and pricing is predictable — ideal conditions for volume buyers.
The rest of the table has shifted upmarket since March. Where the top 10 was once dominated by $1,400–$4,700 budget sedans, it now runs through current-generation Tucson, Sportage, and K3 in the $6,800–$10,100 band, with two Genesis models — G80 at $17,500 and GV80 at $26,700 — anchoring the premium end. The GV80 is the most expensive model in any house's top 10 this period. The Grandeur HG at $2,200 remains the budget stalwart, and the Torres shows KGM (formerly SsangYong) replacing the QM6 as the top non-Hyundai/Kia entry.
AJ Autohub
AJ Autohub (formerly AJ Sellcar) is known for a diverse vehicle mix that includes both consumer cars and commercial vehicles.

AJ's most instructive rows are the two Santa Fes: the older DM generation at $2,800 and the current generation at $13,600 — the same nameplate, five ranks apart, at nearly five times the price. That spread is AJ in miniature: it moves both ends of the market.
The Genesis G80, AJ's #2 model in March, has dropped out of the top 10 entirely — premium sourcing has consolidated at Glovis, SK, and Lotte. What AJ has kept is its commercial niche: the Porter II at rank 8 is the only 1-ton truck in any house's top 10, and per the trading report it clears at 62.1% — the highest rate in AJ's lineup. The K5 LPI ex-rental remains the fleet-buyer staple it was in March.
SK Auction
SK Auction handles smaller volumes than Glovis, but the vehicles that pass through are the newest of any house. SK sources many of its cars through SK Networks' dealer and rental partnerships, which skews the inventory toward recent model years and lease returns.

SK is the Avante house. Four of its top ten rows are CN7 Avante trims — Modern, Corporate, Smart, and the Hybrid — totaling over 300 units in 30 days. These are current-generation lease returns arriving in near-identical spec, which is why SK clears them faster than anyone (the base-model Avante sells through at 64.4%).
The hybrid concentration that defined SK in March has broadened rather than faded: beyond the Avante HEV in the top 10, SK's overall sold volume is now 25.2% EV or hybrid — the highest share of any house. It just fragments across many trims (Ioniq 5, Sonata HEV, Grandeur HEV), so a trim-level table understates it. For electrified export stock, SK is the first stop.
Lotte Auto Auction
Lotte Auto Auction has carved out the premium end of the market, with Genesis as its signature franchise.

The Genesis G80 now shares the #1 spot outright — 80 units at a $17,400 average, the strongest Genesis volume at any house. Nowhere else does a $17K-class sedan lead the sales table, and it is why the trading report calls Lotte "the Genesis house."
The bigger change is what disappeared. In March, Lotte's top 10 carried four electrified vehicles — Niro EV, Niro Hybrid, Ioniq 5, and K8 Hybrid. Today only the Ioniq 5 remains, at rank 9 (28 units, ~$16,400 average). Lotte's electrified share of sold volume has slipped to 17.5% while SK's has risen to 25.2% — the electrified crown has changed hands. Lotte's compensation is breadth: the Morning at $2,700 gives it a genuine budget lane alongside the Genesis premium lane.
K Car Auction — new this edition
K Car joins the rankings for the first time, and it is a different market from the other four: the budget end of the auction system, where five-figure prices are the exception rather than the rule.

Nine of ten models average under $3,500, and the Spark bottoms out at ~$1,000 — these are the exact cars that feed the volume export markets like Libya and Albania. The Grandeur HG leads at 104 units and a $1,900 average, an order of magnitude cheaper than the Grandeur IG trims selling at SK and Lotte. Three generations of Avante (HD, MD, AD) chart simultaneously, and the Porter II cargo truck is the only commercial vehicle here. If your buyers pay under $4,000 a car, this is the house.
Cross-Auction Trends
Looking across all five auction houses, several patterns emerge from the June–July 2026 data:
The Carnival has lost its crown. In March we called it Korea's most popular auction vehicle — top 10 at every house. No longer: it does not crack the top 10 at SK or K Car, and at Glovis it is the worst-clearing high-volume model at 32.7%. Volume is still real at Glovis, AJ, and Lotte (four of the ten Carnival trim rows above), but supply has outrun demand at current asking levels.
The Avante is now the universal car. It appears in the top 10 at all five houses — current CN7 at Glovis, AJ, SK, and Lotte; older HD/MD/AD generations at K Car — and its combined sold volume (roughly 1,430 units across the five houses) is the highest of any nameplate. The Grandeur matches its coverage — top 10 at all five, from $1,900 at K Car to $12,800 at SK — making these two the cars you can source anywhere, at any budget.
Genesis is a three-house franchise. The G80 charts at Glovis ($17,500), SK ($18,200), and Lotte ($17,400) — remarkably tight pricing for three different venues — and the GV80 tops Glovis's table at $26,700. AJ, the G80's #2 house in March, has exited the premium race.
Electrified inventory has consolidated at SK. Lotte's four-model electrified showing from March is down to one; SK now leads with 25.2% of sold volume EV or hybrid and the market's most liquid model in the Ioniq 5. See the trading report for the full house-by-house electrified breakdown.
The budget lane runs through K Car. Morning, Spark, and early-2010s Avantes and Sonatas cluster there at $1,000–$2,000, with Glovis's Grandeur HG and AJ's Santa Fe DM as the other sub-$3,400 sources of scale.
